The Lord is Good!

The Lord is Good to me! I cannot thank Him enough for his faithfulness to me even when I fail Him. He has blessed me with a wonderful godly heritage and now a wonderful godly husband! The verse that comes to mind as I ponder his goodness is found in Psalm 34, the same passage Daniel used when he proposed (vs. 3). However the verse i want to focus on is verse 8. "O taste and see that the Lord is Good, blessed is the man that trusteth in Him". Praise God for his goodness to the children of men. I have nothing of mine own right to offer to God, and yet He desires fellowship with me that He may show me Himself, and I may Glorify my Father which is in Heaven. What a Mighty God we serve!

More Honeymoon Memories

I just loved our honeymoon and so I have to post more pictures about what we did. It was just INCREDIBLE!!!
Dan and I went off roading on Christmas Eve and hiked in knee dep snow.
It was so fun. We found this really beautiful spot. I love the tree arching over us.

We were truly in a winter wonder land.

What can I say, we're honeymooners:-)

One night Dan and I went deep into the woods behind his parents cabin and built a fire.We sang songs and just talked for a couple hours. needless to say we were freezing by the time we got back. Hot cocoa was never more appreciated.

Towards the end of our honeymoon we went and spent a few days in Duluth.

We walked down by lake superior and it was breathtaking.

Spirit Week at OCS!

I didn't get a lot of pictures during Spirit week but the one's I got were pretty funny. It was only 3 days long. We had a blast. The first day was Decade day, Day 2 was class color day, and Day 3 was School Spirit day. I only have pictures from decade day. I dressed up in the 80's.

Luke let me borrow his 8o's leather coat, Daniel let me borrow his shirt, and the rest was mine . . . including the hair! The kids at school got a kick out of my outfit. It was kinda weird though 'cause I was the only teacher who dressed up that day. Oh well, I had spirit anyway.
Christy, Val, Jessica, Me, and Heather in the Kitchen at OCS!
I love these girls. They are all in my choir except Heather. All of them are seniors
and a lot of laughs. Spanish was a riot with them. However I am no longer doing spanish or phy-ed so I don't see Heather as often.

Jamie and I. She is in my choir too and also goes to my new church in Albert Lea. She is so fun and it's neat to see how God is working in her life.

Laurel and I. She is a huge help in my choir. She plays piano for me when my real pianist is gone.

Fun with Family

Charity, Seth, and Kevin came down and we all went bowling.
Johnathan and Luke joined us and we had a blast.
I didn't bowl so well that day but I made up for it at the valentine formal where I creamed Daniel. To be truthful I did a very bad job the second game but hey I still won the first one :-)

This one is kinda blurry but it was the only one that had everyone in it!

Double dates are so fun; especially with the little runt in the background:-)

This is the most beautiful baby alive, and I'm his Aunt Doh-Doh! There has never been a prouder aunt than this one. Look at his little face!

This is the sweetest picture. I love spending time with Johnathan.

He somehow wriggled his way into my heart!

Honeymoon Treasures

Daniel and I went up to his parents cabin in Northern Wisconsin.
It was amazing. The snow was beautiful and our time together was very special.
It was absolutely a wonderful time and I couldn't have asked for a better time together.
I was going to post wedding pictures first but for some reason this computer wont read my disk so I'll post these instead!

Dan took me to Famous Daves! It was so fun. We had a really good waitress and lots of yummy food! What a blast!

In the middle of our week we went snowmobiling! It was my first time! Wow!

I love this picture! This is in his parents cabin where we stayed.
